「小一感恩孝親會」
各位家長：
感謝各位家長一直以來對學校的信任與支持，讓孩子們在溫暖的校園中健康快樂地成長。自九月開學以來，我們見證了小一新生從初入校門的怯生，到現在已逐漸適應校園生活，這一百天的點滴進步，都值得我們感恩。
原定於十二月一日舉行的「小一百日宴」，是為了讓家長與孩子一同分享這份成果。然而，過去數日，香港經歷了不幸事件，全城氣氛低沉，許多家庭都受到不同程度的影響。學校認為現階段不宜舉辦帶有「宴會」性質的喜慶活動，以示對社會的尊重。
因此，本校決定將原定的「小一百日宴」改為「小一感恩孝親會」，活動日期及時間維持不變。活動主題將以「感恩‧孝親‧同理心」為核心，讓孩子學習在任何環境下仍懷抱感恩之心，懂得珍惜身邊人，並體諒別人的感受。請早前已報名的家長按原定時間出席。
願我們一起用溫暖與關懷，走過這段非常時期。

Primary 1 Thanksgiving and Filial Piety Gathering
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your continued trust and support of the school, which has allowed our children to grow up healthy and happy in a warm campus environment. Since the start of the school year in September, we have witnessed our Primary 1 students progress from being timid on their first day to gradually adapting to school life. Every small step of improvement over these 100 days is truly worthy of our gratitude.
The “One Hundred Days Celebration”, originally scheduled for 1st December, 2025, was planned so that parents and children could share these achievements together. However, in light of the unfortunate event that Hong Kong has experienced over the past few days, the atmosphere across the city remains somber, and many families have been affected to varying degrees. The school believes that, at this stage, it is inappropriate to hold a celebratory event in the style of a “celebration” out of respect for society as a whole.
Therefore, the school has decided to change the “One Hundred Days Celebration” to a “Primary 1 Thanksgiving and Filial Piety Gathering”. The date and time of the event will remain unchanged. The theme of the activity will center on “Gratitude, Filial Piety, and Empathy”, helping children learn to maintain a grateful heart in any circumstances, cherish the people around them, and show understanding for others’ feelings. Parents who have previously registered are kindly requested to attend at the original scheduled time.
May we walk together through this difficult time with warmth and care.
